Y&R Dubai and Leo Burnett lead Lynx shortlists

Y&R Dubai,Leo Burnett and Impact BBDO are the front-runners at this year’s Dubai Lynx awards following the release of the majority of shortlists this morning.

Y&R Dubai has 34 shortlisted pieces of work in print alone, with a further 24 in outdoor and 16 in print and poster craft. Leo Burnett is strong across its regional network, with Beirut making the cut 14 times in the media shortlist and also performing well in PR and promo & activation. The Cairo office is well represented in the film and film craft category.

Also strong in print and film is Impact BBDO, whose ‘Cheyef 7alak’ work for LBC in Beirut is shortlisted seven times, with further nominations in PR and media. Impact BBDO Dubai has 13 shortlists in print and a further six in outdoor, as well as being the most shortlisted agency in radio.

Memac Ogilvy also makes a strong showing, with Memac Ogilvy Label in Tunisia receiving numerous nominations across multiple categories for its ‘Return of Ben Ali’, including in media, outdoor, interactive, promo & activation, direct and film.

There is only one shortlist in the new mobile category – for TBWA\Raad’s ‘Family health awareness’ for GE. The integrated shortlist will be released on Wednesday morning. For the full shortlists, go here.
