TikTok calls on community to support Lebanese Red Cross

TikTok, the leading destination for short-form mobile video is calling on its users to support one of Lebanon’s most prominent non profit organisations, the Lebanese Red Cross, to help the people of Beirut that were severely affected by the tragic incident that recently struck the capital.

Last week, TikTok donated USD 1 million to the Lebanese Red Cross in a bid to support their mission in providing care and shelter to those who are gravely injured or have lost their homes.

With recovery and relief efforts still being put in place for the country, TikTok is working with its community to provide ongoing support by inspiring users to make charitable contributions directly through the platform following these simple steps:

1. Open the TikTok app or Download it if you are new to the platform
2. Click on the Discovery page
3. Check the top highlights and a ‘Support Lebanon’ image will pop up
4. Click on the image and donate
