TBWA\Raad enters the Tunisian market

TBWA\Raad has expanded into the Tunisian market via an alliance with independent agency Point Carré.

The signing of an affiliation agreement between the two agencies has led to the creation of TBWA\Point Carré, with the new entity becoming the 15th office in the TBWA network across the Middle East and North Africa.

The alliance will build on an existing collaboration between the two agencies, with the Tunis office adding to TBWA\Raad’s presence in the Maghreb alongside Morocco and Algeria. Point Carré was founded by Rym Gaddas Milad in 1996.

“Our affiliation with Point Carré is a celebration for TBWA\Raad as it marks the completion of our North African market presence”, said TBWA\Raad’s chairman and CEO, Ramzi Raad. “Working with Point Carré will strengthen our dynamic service offerings to clients in this very active market and allow TBWA\Raad to tap into, and help evolve, the wealth of young professional talent in Tunisia. TBWA is proud to be a part of such a passionate and creative market, which is making its mark on the regional and even the international stage.”

Milad, founder and CEO of Point Carré, added: “This is an exciting time for the agency and the team. Joining the TBWA network is an important step in the development of our talent and creativity. TBWA’s global reach and experience will provide an excellent platform from which we can showcase the spirit of communication in Tunisia and contribute to TBWA\Raad’s market-leading position in the MENA region.”

The agency has 27 staff and offers the full spectrum of advertising services, including strategic planning, above and below-the-line, as well as media planning and buying.
