Subway appoints JiWin as PR partner

Subway Middle East, the regional division of the world’s largest submarine sandwich franchise, has awarded its communications account for the Middle East and Africa to JiWin PR, following a pitch called by Subway earlier this year.

Speaking of the decision to award the account to the media consultancy, Joseph Tabet, regional director of SUBWAY International, said: “JiWin’s pitch included highly creative and inspiring concepts that reflected an in-depth understanding of our brand. We are particularly impressed by the agency’s strong regional capability. We look forward to implementing JiWin’s creative ideas across the Middle East markets and taking our brand to a whole new level of visibility among our key target audiences.”

JiWin’s managing director, Mamoon Sbeih said of the agency’s appointment: “Our unique brand-centric approach to PR ensure we build consistent brand equity for all our clients. That includes major corporations. We are fully geared to roll out regionwide programmes for SUBWAY and look forward to working closely with its regional teams across the Middle East.”

Jiwin is based in Dubai and was launched in February 2006 to offer communications consultancy services. Its clients include Johnson & Johnson, Merck and Sony.
