Starcom MediaVest Group Dubai wins du’s media mandate

OMD was the incumbent.

Starcom MediaVest Group Dubai has won the media buying and planning duties for telecom brand du (Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company), following a multi-agency pitch.

Confirming the win, Alex Saber, chairman, SMG/VivaKi MENA, said, “du places quality, innovation, integrity and social responsibility at the core of its business ethos. We are incredibly proud of this partnership.”

The mandate covers media planning and buying, including digital, for 2015.

The incumbent is OMD. As reported in the issue of Campaign Middle East dated 7 December 2014, OMD had confirmed pulling out of the pitch.
