Zubair Siddiqui has been named the new managing director of UM Dubai.
Siddiqui, who was previously deputy general manager at the media agency, moves into the position left vacant by Paul Katrib, who is now regional managing director for the UM network across the Middle East and North Africa.
Siddiqui assumes immediate responsibility for managing the media activities of the UM Dubai office and working with regional and local clients. In addition, he will play a major role in identifying areas of growth and improving the agency’s product, people, and services in light of changes that have taken place at UM this year.
“Zubair has been one of the pillars at UM and has shown true leadership and grown in his professional stature by leaps and bounds,” said Fadi Salameh, president and CEO of MCN.
