Career path
“How much do I love advertising? So much that I was happy being an unpaid intern in four agencies. After a year at M&C Saatchi, Beirut, I relocated to FP7 Dubai, where I’m a senior account manager today. I handle quite a few brands and in my free time (if there is such a thing) I’m part of the FunP7 Committee, which organises events for the agency after working hours (if there is such a thing). Last year I won Gold at the Young Lynx,
which aged me rather quickly, because I had to become a mentor for our teams this year.”
Guiding principles
As the old saying goes, find a job that you love and you’ll never work a day. I learned that pretty much at 6pm (or 8pm – I can’t remember now) on day one. It sums up my philosophy in the office and outside. I believe in focusing only on that which I love and what I’m passionate about. Because with it comes the drive to do and be better and stay happier, and eventually, these vibes spread to everyone around. There’s no secret recipe here. If you don’t love it, leave it.
