Rain wins d3 creative brief

Independent agency Rain has won creative duties for Dubai Design District (d3) following a multi-agency pitch.

The agency will handle above- and below-the line and digital advertising for the purpose-built creative hub located behind The Dubai Mall.

Rain will also partner with the Tecom Group subsidiary to promote d3 events such as Dubai Design Week, Fashion Forward, Sole DXB and Meet d3.

Opened in 2015, the glass and steel space is home to more than 160 companies. Among these are local and global designers, galleries and a number of independent agencies, including Rain.

Manoj Ammanath, founder and brand partner of Rain, said: “It’s an inspiring win for us and a great opportunity to partner with a vibrant brand like d3. We’re very excited to get going and create work that will elevate the d3 brand even further.”

Rain has also won creative duties for Indian property giant Shapoorji Pallonji International Property Developers, which is planning the launch of its first premium development in Downtown Dubai.

Founded in 2011 by Ammanath, former creative director of Lowe Middle East and Brandcom Middle East, Rain’s clients include HSBC, Henkel, Friesland Campina and Volkswagen Al Nabooda.
