Publicis Media’s Starcom wins Etisalat Misr Account

 

Following an extensive pitch process with a heavy focus on both planning and buying capabilities that was carried out over the duration of a year, Starcom Egypt has been appointed to handle the prestigious account of Etisalat Misr. The pitch involved Starcom and 4 of Egypt’s top agencies. The incumbent agency represented Etisalat Misr for over 11 years.

Etisalat Misr is a subsidiary of Etisalat group one of the first telecom operators in the world to launch the 4G with total presence in 16 countries across Africa, Middle East and Asia. Etisalat group entered the Egyptian market in May 2007.

Etisalat Misr from launch to date has maintained technology leadership and serves millions of customers across Egypt with the best quality of products and services making it a market leader in the telecom industry in Egypt and aiming to “Become the brand of choice in the Egyptian telecom market”.

The Publicis Media Group agency will manage the full scope of media services across Egypt. The account duties span across all strategic planning, media buying and customer engagement and is effective immediately.
