Private investor acquires assets of indie branding agency TMH

A private investor has acquired the assets of branding and advertising agency TMH.

The identity of the international investor is not known, but the agency will now be led by Ricky Sharma, TMH’s former chief operating officer. It is understood the structure of the agency will remain unchanged, with all staff taken forward into the new set-up.

“It’s essentially a new business, but will of course continue to deliver great creative and will work hard to earn the respect that the team has built up in the market over the years,” said Sharma. “The new owner shares my vision in wanting to build the best independent agency in the Middle East. They want to expand the breadth of services we offer over the coming months and we will shortly be moving to new, bigger offices.”

James Wood continues as TMH’s creative director, while David Wright remains the agency’s client services director. The agency was originally formed in 1997 and is headquartered in Dubai, with further offices in Abu Dhabi. It has 30 members of staff, with a client base that includes Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, MAF Leisure, Kenwood, Masdar and Zayed Sports City.
