Pizza Hut hands digital duties to PHD

PHD has won the digital duties for Pizza Hut in the region following a competitive pitch.

The agency has been tasked with helping the restaurant chain capitalise on digital technologies and opportunities in the Middle East. It will also manage Pizza Hut’s e-commerce initiatives and online activities.

Sunil Suresh, digital director at Pizza Hut, said of the appointment: “PHD offered an unrivalled 360-degree digital solution, with proven capabilities in delivering efficiencies on e-commerce and digital media initiatives, as well as strong strategies for engagement.

“The team demonstrated an excellent understanding of our business needs and a clear vision of how to make Pizza Hut the leading brand on digital platforms. We look forward to working closely with them and expanding our online presence in the region.”

Pizza Hut, which is owned by Yum! Brands, had invited five agencies to pitch for the business.
