Turner Broadcasting System, the company behind television news channel CNN and The Cartoon Network, has signed up OOX Monitor, a Dubai-based online advertising monitor covering the Middle East and North Africa.
“Acquiring the account of Turner Broadcasting System is a high-profile win for OOX,” said Fouad Bedran, the firm’s co-founder and managing director. “Turner is a key addition to the OOX Monitor international client portfolio, which encompasses BBC, Perform, Wego, Webedia-Diwanee, OLX-Dubizzle and many more.”
In December, OOX added mobile ad monitoring to its services, allowing subscribers to track competitors’ advertising across mobile as well as regular web platforms.
Turner Middle East, the Dubai-based regional operation of Turner, has five media brands. It has recently been investing in Arabic kids’ content for the Middle East through its Cartoon Network Arabic brand.
