Modest showing in cyber, design and radio shortlists

The design, cyber and radio shortlists have been released at Cannes, with the region picking up only a handful of nominations across the three categories.

In cyber, only TBWA\Raad is shortlisted for its Red Tomato Pizza fridge magnet, whilst in radio Memac Ogilvy Dubai has made the cut twice thanks to its ‘Rescue radio’ spots for Lebanon’s Sawamninjah. Impact BBDO Dubai is also shortlisted in radio for ‘The first billbaord on the radio’ spot for Skittles.

Y&R Dubai, Memac Ogilvy Dubai and DDB Dubai are shortlisted in design, with Y&R picking up two for Red Cross and Neenah Papers campaigns. DDB has also received two for its ‘Gift a life’ work, while Memac Ogilvy has a solitary nod for ‘The smallest Ikea store in the world’.

Winners will be announced tomorrow evening.
