Mindshare retains Bahrain International Circuit brief

Mindshare Bahrain has retained Bahrain International Circuit’s media account following a competitive pitch.

The account, which comprises online and mainstream media planning and buying, will cover all of Bahrain International Circuit’s (BIC) marketing activities in the GCC. Joy Katran, marketing manager of BIC, said: “We have chosen to retain Mindshare for another two years as they have shown commitment, passion and in-depth knowledge of our business, showcasing creativity that portrays BIC as a market leader.”

Mindshare Bahrain’s managing director, Johnny Khazzoum, said: “At times, retaining an account is much more challenging than winning a new account. Keeping BIC’s business with Mindshare proves the client’s confidence in our business planning model.”

Bahrain International Circuit was opened in 2004 and has hosted the annual Bahrain Grand Prix – a race in the FIA Formula One World Championships – ever since. The next Grand Prix to be held at the circuit is on 13 March next year.
