Leo Burnett Dubai wins FGB account

United Arab Emirates financial lender FGB has appointed Leo Burnett Dubai as its full- service advertising agency following a competitive pitch.

The Publicis Groupe-owned agency will run integrated, cross-channel campaigns aimed at increasing brand rec- ognition and business growth for the Abu Dhabi-headquar- tered international bank.

The account will also cover multi-touchpoint content creation and messaging.

Tim Burnell, FGB’s head of corporate affairs, brand and marketing, said: “Throughout the lengthy pitch process, the Leo Burnett team consistently demonstrated out-of-the-box thinking and an ability to pro- duce powerful, engaging work. Leo Burnett’s in-depth knowledge and awareness of consumer behaviour and market trends, coupled with their strategic and creative excellence, makes them a very good fit for our organisation.”

Kamal Dimachkie, executive regional managing director at Leo Burnett Dubai, added: “We are proud to be joining forces with FGB. We are convinced that helping FGB win in the marketplace requires more than just unique, cross-channel ideas; we also need to bring forth game-changing strategies that turn conventional brand messaging tactics – typically used in the financial services space – on their heads.”
