Leo Burnett Beirut wins Glass Lion for ‘Legally Bride’

Leo Burnett Beirut has won a Glass Lion and a bronze in direct for its hugely successful ‘Legally Bride’ campaign for Lebanese NGO Kafa.

The win came during the first night of awards at this year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

Memac Ogilvy Dubai also won gold in print & publishing thanks to Ikea Saudi Arabia’s ‘It’s that affordable’ campaign, which also picked up a silver in the same category. DDB Dubai and Memac Ogilvy Doha both picked up silvers in radio and print & publishing respectively.

Two further bronzes were awarded to Impact BBDO Dubai in the print & publishing and radio categories. Memac Ogilvy Dubai nabbed a further bronze in promo & activation for its ‘Finding light in the dark’ campaign for Coca-Cola Middle East.
