This could help people such as instructors (yoga, fitness, school teachers etc.) who had to pivot to virtual classes, budding musicians, or artists hosting discussions with fellow peers engage with their audience with no interruption from a 60 min time limit.
- Accounts must be in good standing with no history of IP or policy violations to be able to stream for up to four hours.
- In response to the ask from our creator community, they are soon launching the ability for accounts to archive their live broadcasts for up to 30 days. This experience will mirror the archive experience for Stories and Feed Posts.
- Also, they will be updating the “Live Now” section within IGTV and at the end of a live stream. As people increasingly relied on Live this year to engage with their communities, Instagram wants to help people discover more content that interests them from the creators they do and don’t follow.
