Huawei’s masked ballet dancers instill hope in in-house campaign

Huawei has launched a global social media campaign aiming at how it is important to instill hope in difficult times especially that we are all now encountering an unprecedented global adversity matter with the COVID19 pandemic.

A statement from the company said: “We at Huawei keep learning how to face and overcome the challenges and are always inspired by examples like the Ballet Dancer’s strong will and futuristic approach; with the beauty of ballet dance you don’t see all the hard work behind it, and the years and years of practice to achieve what seems simple and light-footed. With this campaign we wanted to encourage everyone to be up to facing challenges and planting hope amidst difficult situations. The journey of success is hard but joyful.”

The campaign was created in-house.

Dr. Eesa Mohammed Bastaki, president of the University of Dubai, said:
“Going back to the past is beautiful. We can learn lessons from the past which gives us power and energy to move towards the future gracefully. We shouldn’t dwell on the past as much as building on it to either recover, flourish or accelerate towards an positive unknown future of beauty, success, progress and prosperity. This present crisis needs the spirits of love, happiness and tolerance in order for us to work diligently towards the betterment of humanity and ensuring the world to be a better place to live in. The ballet dancers represent the symbol of hope who spread the sense of positive energy in moving towards a bright future. The art of dancing relates to the technology in the sense of smooth connections and harmony. So, when art disseminates hope so does the technology. Without the technological advances humanity wouldn’t survive the Corona crises; thus giving hope to humanity to keep tact with each other and support the front lines to fulfill their duties towards preventing the pandemic to spread. Technology is the virtual frontline that has proven effective in maintaining the social interactions and improving all the services to protect the human being. Kudos to the technology that has shifted us smoothly from a cold winter into a pleasant Spring.”
