Frame retains Katara advertising and PR brief

Independent agency Frame has retained the advertising and public relations account for Qatar’s Katara project.

The win follows a competitive pitch with the agency retaining the business for a further two years. Katara is a landmark project in Doha covering arts, culture, entertainment and leisure.

Rami Shanaah, group managing director at Doha-based Frame, said: “We beat off tough competition to retain the business, as Katara is by far the largest project of its type in the world and represents one of the most prestigious and largest tourism projects in Doha.

“We won the tender due to our fantastic embedded account management team and the hard work of the strategy, creative and media departments to deliver excellent service over the last year, and the completion of a very strategic tender response.”

Callum Hoy, Frame’s general manager, added: “This win represents a further endorsement of Frame’s organic growth and elevation to the top of country’s agency league table. Since working with Katara over the last year, we have seen visitor numbers double to over 10 million, this was made possible by true partnership and collaboration with Katara’s marketing department.”
