FP7 wins Byblos Bank advertising account

FP7 Beirut has won the creative and media duties for Byblos Bank in Lebanon following a multi-agency pitch.

The bank, which is headquartered in Beirut and was founded in 1950, is seeking to inject increased dynamism into its growing brand and to revamp its positioning with different stakeholders in both Lebanon and international markets.

Tarek Miknas, group CEO at FP7, which is part of MCN Holding, said of the win: “This is a very personal win for us, as FP7 started its life in Beirut and we’re exceptionally proud of this achievement.”

George Jabbour, chief operating officer at MCN Lebanon, added: “Byblos Bank is a genuine Lebanese iconic brand, and behind it stands an institution whose values and commitments to Lebanon are a perfect match to our own values.”

Speaking of the bank’s brand building plans, Nada Tawil, head of group communication at Byblos Bank, said: “We believe this new partnership between our bank and FP7 has the potential to take the Byblos Bank brand to new heights. Indeed, Byblos Bank has pioneered brand communication in the banking industry in Lebanon back in the 90s and, today with our new partners, we are ready to champion yet another leap in this field.”

FP7 is part of MCN, which operates several agency brands across the Middle East and North Africa, including Lowe, UM, Initiative, Magna Global, Promoseven 360, MRM Worldwide, McCann Healthcare, Weber Shandwick Mena, and InnovationsDigital.
