Four Communications to open Muscat office

International communications agency Four Communications is expanding its regional operations with the opening of an office in Muscat.

The agency, which already has offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, London and Liverpool and opened in Edinburgh on 3 October, hopes to have the office up and running within the next month or two. The plan is to start with three staff, one of whom will move over from the London office, with the agency recruiting both regionally and in Oman itself.

Ray Eglington, managing director – international at Four Communications, said: “We’ve been in the UAE for some time now and Oman has been a good opportunity for us over the past two years with the projects that we’ve been involved in. The opening of the office is part of a wider strategy of ours of looking for markets where we believe there’s the opportunity to add local presence and therefore build up the overall offer.”

Eglington, who is one of the company’s original founders,  added that the agency would be looking at similar opportunities across the region over the next year or two. Four’s clients include Etihad, Grant Thornton International and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. In Oman itself, the company has worked with tourism development company Omran. Earlier this year Four acquired travel and tourism PR and representation agency, bgb.
