Organisers of the Dubai Lynx have officially named the first four presidents for next year’s awards.
Graham Fink, chief creative officer at Ogilvy & Mather, will head the film, print, outdoor and radio jury. Fink was instrumental in Ogilvy Asia winning its first Cannes Lions Grand Prix last year, for Coca-Cola’s ‘Cokehands.’
The branded content and entertainment jury will be chaired by Phillippe Meunier, creative chief and co-founder at Sid Lee, which was named one of the top three advertising agencies in the world by Advertising Age.
Philippa Brown, CEO of Omnicom Media Group UK, will lead the media jury and the PR jury will be presided by Gabriela Lungu, chief creative officer UK and EMEA, Weber Shandwick,
Philip Thomas, CEO of Lions Festivals, said: “We want to propel the region onto the world stage and ensure the jury are as good and as strong as they can be.
“We’re delighted that Graham, Philippa, Gabriela and Philippe will be joining us to help set the creative benchmark across the region.”
Next year’s Dubai Lynx, which is being held at the Madinat Jumeirah, is part of the Dubai Lynx International Festival of Creativity.
The festival, of which its theme will be storytelling, will also take place at the venue with the festival dates set between 9 to 11 March next year.
The festival, which will be in its seventh year, will culminate in the Lynx awards on 12 March.
The Student Creative Award for Integrated has been launched alongside the Masar Creative Award for Print, which will return for its second year. The competitions will be judged by Bechara Mouzannar, chief creative officer of Leo Burnett MENA.
