Dubai Lynx 2015: Nissan-Mindshare team wins Young Lynx Integrated competition

Coca-Cola and Y&R combine finish second; FP7-Emirates NBD-Momentum trio is third.

A team comprised of young professionals from Nissan ME and Mindshare MENA has won the Young Lions Integrated Competition, it was announced on 10 March, day three of the Dubai Lynx International Festival of Creativity 2015.

The winning team comprised Reham Eldidi, senior manager, corporate communication and social media, Nissan ME; Ammar Safi, invention manager, Mindshare MENA; and Tarek Elsaad, account manager – digital, also from Mindshare MENA.

A total of 14 teams attempted to crack the brief for WaterAid, to create an annual brand engagement moment during World Water Day. The objective was to create a creative integrated campaign, to engage and inspire existing supporters and attract new supporters.

The jury comprised Suzanne Powers, chief strategy officer, McCann; Jose Miguel Sokoloff, chairman, global creative council, Lowe and Partners; and Ajay Keerthy, regional head campaigns, RBWM marketing, HSBC Bank Middle East.

In second place was the team comprised of Roberta Totora and Giorgia Fattoracci from Y&R Dubai, alongside Ibrahim Wagdy from Coca-Cola. Third place went to Erol Salcinovic (FP7), Hala Zamani (Emirates NBD) and Muhammad Ali (Momentum MENA).

Anas Alhakim and Safa Guitouni from JWT teamed with Fatene Ben Hamza from TEDxCatharge won themselves a ‘Special Mention’.
