Are you a senior reporter or news editor looking for the next step up on a globally respected trade publication? Campaign, the flagship publication for the Middle East advertising community, is looking for an energetic, talented and self-motivated individual to join the team as deputy editor.
Reporting to and working closely with the editor, the deputy editor will be expected to:
- Gather news
- Write features
- Sub-edit
- Source and write daily online news stories to drive readers to our website
- Deputise for the editor in his absence
- Interview top industry executives
- Attend relevant industry events
- Design and layout pages (training will be provided).
As part of the region’s most networked trade magazine, you will also be expected to be able to work independently in building a contacts book.
The successful candidate must have an excellent command of the English language and be a team player with all-round communications skills.
A minimum of three years experience working as a senior reporter or news editor on a trade magazine or regional newspaper isrequired.
