D&AD recognises handful of regional agencies

A handful of regional agencies have made a mark at this year’s D&AD Awards. TBWA\Raad, Y&R Dubai and Memac Ogilvy Dubai have all received ‘In Book’ accolades, although at the time of going to press no Middle East agency had received nominations in any category.

Y&R Dubai’s ‘Pelicans’ will be included in the 50th D&AD Annual thanks to the campaign’s photography, while TBWA\Raad’s ‘VIP Fridge Magnet’ for Red Tomato Pizza went ‘In Book’ in the digital solutions category. Memac Ogilvy’s ‘The Smallest Ikea Store in the World’ also made the grade in digital adverts.

‘In Book’ work is equivalent to a bronze award. Nominations are silver. Pencil winners will be announced in June.
