Impact BBDO goes existential in this new ad for Centrepoint’s upcoming sale. Shot in black and white, the eerie one-minute film shows a young man driving a smart vintage car as a woman stares out at the barren landscape from the back seat. Misery after misery blights the young couple and the film finally culminates with their car breaking down on a railway track. The concept comes from the insight that life has a mind of its own; and when it makes its plans to ruin your day, there is only one thing that you can do: look good.
