Cannes Lions 2015: Memac Ogilvy’s Ramzi Moutran to judge Film Lions

Two jurors will represent UAE at this year’s festival.

Ramzi Moutran, executive creative director, UAE, Memac Ogilvy & Mather, will serve on the Film Lions jury at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2015.

Among other global accolades, Memac Ogilvy & Mather won a Titanium Lion and four Gold Lions for UN Women ‘Autocomplete Truth’ at the 2014 Cannes Lions Festival. 

Motivate Val Morgan and Motivate, official representatives of the Cannes Lions Festival in the UAE, nominated recommendations on the jury.

“We have seen a phenomenal performance from Memac Ogilvy over the years and in particular at last year’s Cannes Lions. We are delighted that Ramzi will be joining the film jury this year and lend his expertise while representing our region,” said Ian Fairservice, managing partner, Motivate and UAE representative of Cannes Lions.

As reported earlier, Seyoan Vela, ECD, J. Walter Thompson Dubai, will serve on the Press Lions jury this year.

The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2015 will take place from 21 to 27 June.

The Cannes Lions awards competition is currently accepting entries. The entry deadline for Creative Effectiveness is 6 March
, while the deadline for all other categories is 27 March.
