Bell Pottinger lands TECOM PR account

TECOM Investments has handed its public relations account to Bell Pottinger following a competitive pitch.

The account, which will run for the next three years, covers strategic advice, digital media, crisis communications, messaging development and media relations. “We are delighted to have won such an important new client in the Middle East,” said Lord Bell, chairman of Bell Pottinger Private, who flew to Dubai to announce the win. “Through its thriving business cluster model, TECOM Investments has played a significant role in developing Dubai as a knowledge economy. ”

Dubai Media City and Dubai Internet City both fall within TECOM’s portfolio of companies, as does Dubai Studio City.

Abdullatif Al Mulla, group CEO of TECOM Investments, said: “Bell Pottinger was selected after a rigorous, multi-agency pitch process. We were impressed by the experience and strategic insight offered by their team, as well as the agency’s global reach.

“More than 4,500 businesses are located in our thriving business parks, including some of the world’s largest and most prestigious companies. We see Bell Pottinger playing a significant role in helping us shape and communicate our story, ideas and new initiatives, both regionally and in key international markets.”
