Alain Brahamcha named new CEO for Mediavest | Spark

Publicis Media Middle East has announced another change in leadership as part of the group’s global restructure.

Alain Brahamcha, former client managing director at Starcom, has been appointed as CEO of Mediavest | Spark, Middle East.

A Starcom veteran of 16 years, Brahamcha was responsible for introducing and increasing digital progress for clients such as P&G, Samsung, Orbit Showtime Network, Tiffany & Co, Yas Marina Circuit, Souq.com and Miral.

“We have been on a continuous journey of transformation and have built on our talent, which we believe to be the foundation of our business. Together, with our world class practices, we will help our clients, people and business grow and create another chapter of pushing the boundaries in the media agency landscape,” said Alex Saber, Chairman of Publicis Media, Middle East.

The appointments follow a raft of leadership changes at the newly restructured hub.

Steve Parker was the first major new face to be introduced after he moved from Starcom Mediavest Group, London, to take over the CEO role in the Middle East from John Antoniades.

Following this, Ali Nehme, managing director of Digital at Starcom Mediavest Group, was named as chief strategy officer of Publicis Media, Middle East, while Tarek Daouk, regional managing director at Mediavest, was given leadership of  Starcom, Middle East.

Firas El Zein will keep his job as CEO for Zenith, Middle East, while a new role for CV Suvi, managing director of Blue 449, is to be announced.
