Impact BBDO’s regional executive creative director Fadi Yaish is to judge at both the One Show and the Cresta International Advertising Awards in New York.
Yaish will be grand jury president at the Cresta Awards, with preliminary judging beginning in June, and is a social media juror at the One Show – which takes place in May. Bechara Mouzannar, Leo Burnett’s chief creative officer for the Middle East and North Africa, is also a judge on the One Show’s direct jury.
“At Cresta it’s you, the work and nothing else in between,” said Yaish. “This is what makes it special. And this is why I am proud and honoured to have the privilege to work with the grand jury – comprising 85 of the world’s finest from 44 countries – as jury president.
“There have been many great creative talents in the MENA region who have worked tirelessly with brave clients over all these years, for us to reach a higher ground in the global advertising fraternity. The fact that I am the first president from our region is humbling.
“We will celebrate creative work that inspires the world beyond the parameters of our industry. For there is little more fascinating than seeing first-hand how our creative world is innovating to find new ways to connect with people.”
