The finishing touches of the upcoming Dubai Safari have been revealed in a video released on Instagram by the Dubai Municipality.
The 20-second clip shows construction work in progress on the 120-hectare project in Dubai’s Al Warqaa district opposite the Dragon Mart off the Dubai-Hatta Highway.
Dubai Safari will replace the much-maligned Dubai Zoo on Jumeirah Beach Road by the end of this year, and will be home to 1,000 animals from around the world, with Dubai Municipality saying there will be 350 species of rare and endangered animals.
