TBWA\Raad appoints Young as new Dubai ECD

Rohan Young has taken over as executive creative director of TBWA\Raad Dubai.

He fills the position originally destined for Marc Lineveldt, who was to return to the region from the US after almost three years at Fitzgerald & Co in Atlanta. However, Lineveldt never completed the move due to what are believed to be personal reasons.

The executive creative director position had originally been left vacant by the dep-arture of Martin Lever last summer. During the interim period the role of executive creative director had been handled by TBWA\Raad’s regional creative director Nirmal Diwadkar.

Young has been freelancing in Amsterdam for the past year and is a former executive creative director at StrawberryFrog Amsterdam. He has also held the positions of international creative director at CLM BBDO in Paris, and executive creative director at FHV BBDO in Amsterdam.

No one at TBWA\Raad was available for comment at the time of going to press.

Lever quit the region in August last year and relocated to Hong Kong, where he took on the role of global creative director on the Cathay Pacific business at McCann Erickson. TBWA\Raad is  part of the Omnicom Group and has offices across the region.
