Global branding agency Siegel+Gale shuts Dubai office

Branding agency Siegel+Gale has closed its office in Dubai.

The agency’s Loft Offices in Media City have been shut, although the company says it is to maintain a presence through Omnicom Group premises in both Dubai and Riyadh. The Dubai office had been the strategic branding agency’s only regional office.

Emmaclare Huntriss, marketing director at Siegel+Gale in London, said: “In order to better serve clients within the Middle East, there was a decision taken to service the region from a centralised EMEA headquarters in London. This decision was based on the fact that we believe there’s a deeper pool of world-class consultative and creative talent in the city. Much of the work that had come out of the Middle East had been a collaboration between London and the Middle East office.”

Huntriss added: “We are still committed to the region and we’re still committed to delivering solutions for major organisations who demand best-in-class branding.”

The Dubai office had served as a hub for the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, working with clients such as Qatar Telecom, the Islamic Development Bank and Saudi Aramco. Siegel+Gale was founded in the US in 1969 and is headquartered in New York. It has offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, Shanghai, Beijing and Hamburg.

We recently left our Dubai office in the Loft building and are securing space in Omnicom Group premises, so we will continue to have a presence in both Dubai and Riyadh.

Siegel+Gale works with a range of Middle Eastern clients and continues to bring our unique lens of Simplicity to developing branding and customer experience strategies.
