Campaign’s Creative Faces to Watch 2020 – Stephanie Koyess, Senior art director, Momentum MENA
Age: 29
Raphael Nassoura, Momentum: Stephanie is a rare mix of maturity, experience and business sense balanced with bold thinking, artistic courage and creative integrity. In a remarkably short amount of time, she’s managed to earn client trust across key accounts like Yas Theme Parks and Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company. She was also an important conceptual and visual contributor to high-profile pitches like Porsche and Red Bull, along with award-winning work like Summer Says Yas. Stephanie’s collaborative approach makes her a great team member and a true leader in the making. If the future of advertising is female, Stephanie is definitely living proof.
Career highlights
As much as awards are cool, it’s the experiences that really do leave a mark. Winning the Young Lions and attending the Cannes Lions was unforgettable. What brings a smile to my face in retrospect is having delved into many different industries along the way, such as up-and-coming F&B concepts, building music brands and events, luxury, theme parks, and even banking, which packed quite some nice surprises.
Guiding principles
Whoever said “jack of all trades, master of none” was wrong to the bone. I owe this and so much more to my first mentors Eli and Rudy.
Dream job
Definitely working in music supervision. It would be a cool bridge between my advertising and my love for music. A&R wouldn’t have been bad either.
Side hustle
Cooking, no doubt. There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing people smile when they bite into your food (as long as some is left for me).
