Career path: Growing up, my parents always called me out for telling tales. I guess Advertising is the outlet I used to turn those tales into stories. So more than highlights, I’ve got a few moments that I hold close: The day I went from intern to employee. Going live with the Volkswagen Father’s Day campaign – one of our first proactive pieces, and I get to parade it on my Instagram stories going, “Hey, I wrote that.” My first successful client meeting – I had my heart in my mouth the entire time but the “we love it” was worth it. When my CD said he knew I could handle (some) things on my own.
Guiding principles
Ideas live on the edge of other ideas. At the risk of sounding like a Salt-N-Pepa song, my CD has always taught me to Push It.
Dream job
A music video director. I would love to put a face to the stories in songs.
Side hustle
I sing a little. If there’s one thing my colleagues complain about it’s all the humming. But I think if you can always find something to sing (or badly dance) about, you’ve got it made.
