Career highlights
I started my Career as a freelance multidisciplinary designer in the UK. Within a year I moved to Dubai to discover the world of advertising in Saatchi & Saatchi, where I worked as a graphic designer on 360 campaigns, storytelling through branding and personal proactive project such as Adopt a Friend for K9 Friends. Three years later I moved to Wunderman, which is now Wunderman Thompson, as an interactive designer. During my time at Wunderman I’ve worked on multiple brands, such as IMKAN, COMFORT, DTCM and NANA, which won a Silver at the Effies. Throughout these years my work changed from traditional advertising to become more digital and social media-led, making me today an integrated creative.
Guiding principles
If you can write your idea in a tweet… then it’s a great idea. Now try again. Said by my very first ECD
Lastly, nobody is gonna make things happen. Just you and your guts. Said by my current ECD during a group chat.
Dream job
My dream job would be working with a diverse creative team while traveling – kinda like The Pop-Up Agency. Or as an art director/ graphic designer in the film industry, like Annie Atkins, a creative designer for Wes Anderson films.
Side hustle
Whenever I can, I help my friends in their startups by offering creative advice and help jump-start their brand. I choose to get paid only once the business starts profiting. I got paid with a free breakfast once.
Also recently, I’ve been recording VOs for our internal videos, maybe I should start charging.
