What is the Crunch?

As Managing Partner and Executive Board member for AKQA, Sam is responsible for the AKQA brand, marketing and business development across all 23 studios. AKQA applies art and science to create beautiful ideas, products and services. Clients include, Nike, Tag Heuer, Rolls-Royce Motorcars, Volvo, Inter Miami CF, Foster and Partners, and Virgin.

Tim Elliott, Radio Producer
Tim’s a Radio Presenter and Producer – and music fan. Since the late eighties – before media content was called ‘content’ – he’s worked at radio stations like Millennium in London, Capital, Dubai 92 and Dubai Eye and magazine houses like MONEY works here in Dubai, writing, talking and playing songs…in other words he’s spent far too long making and producing content.

Tim Baker, CEO, AKQA MENA
22 years of communication experience across Europe and the Middle East. Tim started his career by running a student radio station in London. 3 years as a digital & radio planner (Markettiers 4DC) in London during the dotcom boom.   In 2010 Tim (along with Oussama his partner) launched hug digital. They recently sold majority share to WPP and are transitioning hug into AKQA. Tim continues to lead the 210 employee operation across 5 markets.
