Hypermedia owner forms W Ventures holding group

Habib Wehbe's company is "to group together innovative and cutting-edge companies that could offer our clients a holistic, 360-degree approach for all their marketing and communication needs"

Out-of-home media company HyperMedia is majority owned by a newly founded holding group, W Ventures, which has interests across the regional marketing and communications industry.

W Ventures was founded by Hypermedia owner Habib Wehbi, who said in a statement: “The main impetus for creating a holding company was to group together innovative and cutting-edge companies that could offer our clients a holistic, 360-degree approach for their marketing and communication needs. Under the W Ventures umbrella, a client can now receive various services, from OOH media, communication strategies, experiential marketing, activations, and much more, all with the best technology and innovations the industry has to offer.”

All the companies within the group are managed by individual teams, but are able to support one another to provide what the group calls “a one-stop shop for solutions for clients”.

Founded in 1999, Hypermedia operates a variety of outdoor, in-store and in-mall advertising in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the Levant. W Ventures also acquired Printlink LLC specialised in large scale digital printing, installation and maintenance services. A sister company under W Ventures is Digitall, a consultancy service specializing in digital content and integrated solutions.

On December 5, W Ventures will officially be launching RedPeg Middle East FZ-LLC in the region. The US-based experiential marketing company “is known for creating intimate bonds between brands and their people, while helping to cement brand presence through manifesting lasting memories with their public,” said Habib Wehbi. “It creates experiences with measurable ROI and KPIs and has dealt with clients such as Amazon and Accenture. RedPeg Middle East FZ-LLC offers a fresh approach that will guide many brands on getting the necessary connection needed for longevity in the market.”

In 2004 , Habib Wehbi entered into partnership with Rely Industries FZCO, one of the largest and most diversified production powerhouses of its kind in the world. Rely is specialised in custom fabrication for marketing displays, exhibition and event builds, turnkey retail fit-out and thematic setups. Leveraging its full-fledged production facilities in the UAE, KSA and China, Rely Industries delivers projects across the Middle East and Africa.

Another branch of W Ventures is focused on financial investments, primarily invested in Cedrus Invest bank and BMI Invest.

“The ability to adapt and acclimate to current trends has paved the way for certain companies to succeed in an ever-changing market,” said the company. “W Ventures brings in its arsenal the right mix of OOH media, communication strategies, experiential marketing, activations and more, to provide clients with strategies that will penetrate today’s market deeper than before.”

Wehbi said: “By integrating different powerful players and centralising talent, we are thrilled to offer our clients such a complete service to get their voices heard, engage with their right audiences and help our clients in achieving their desired results. We follow a basic principle of innovation and continually seek out creative ways to build new relationships, while retaining the ones we have already cultivated.”
