Dohaland appoints Brash Brands as strategic brand partner

Dohaland, the world’s first fully sustainable downtown regeneration project, situated in the Qatari capital, has appointed Brash Brands as its new strategic branding partner.

The Dubai-based branding shop has been enlisted to review the project’s corporate brand and flagship project, Musheireb.

Situated in the heart of downtown Doha and aligned with the emirate’s ‘Qatar National Vision 2030’, the 35-hectare development was established by HH Sheika Mozah bint Nasser Al-Missned, wife of  the  Qatari Emir, to reclaim the country’s lost architectural identity and is the result of a three-year intensive study by leading architects and masterplanners. The announcement comes on the back of Qatar’s succesful bid to host the 2022 Fifa World Cup.

Speaking of the win, which is effective immediately, John Brash, founder and chief executive of Brash Brands, said: “The Dohaland project captured our imagination and we are thrilled to be working with the team and do our part to bring this wonderful vision to life.”

Brash Brands was founded in Dubai in 2007 and as well as a presence in Abu Dhabi, also operates offices in London, Singapore and Shanghai. The branding agency won the Dnata account in August of this year and its client portfolio also includes TDIC, Burj Khalifa and Yas Links Abu Dhabi.
